"Do we have to go in right away?" you pipe up, forcing Kinsey to stop and turn around. She raises and eyebrow expectantly. "I mean...the grounds are so big, and the house isn't going anywhere, and...y'know..." you trail off. You're just stalling for time, still really not eager to go wandering around the supposedly haunted mansion. "I guess so..." you answer hesitantly, to which Kinsey claps her hands in excitement. You follow her up and over the gate, but not before checking over your shoulder first for any witnesses. It's a waste of time. The house was built with seclusion in mind; there's no one around for miles. No one to hear us scream, you can't help but think. You look past Kinsey to the house. Unable to shake the feeling that something terrible lurks within it, you shake your head and take a step back from the gate. "Sorry Kinsey," you say. "I think I'm gonna sit this one out." "Pfttt! Lame," she replies, swinging her leg over the top of the fence and dropping down on the other side. "Why've you always gotta be such a wuss." She smirks, and turns to walk across the massive front yard the to house. Suddenly filled with dread, you make a grab for her arm through the iron gate. There's a house in Rhode Island. Specifically, in Newport. Even more specifically, on a hill just outside Newport, overlooking the town below. It's an old house, built sometime in the 1880s, and it's stood empty since 1937, It's two floors (with abasement and attic), stands on a massive plot of land, and is completely surrounded by a high cobblestone wall with a massive iron gate at the front. It's also, apparently, haunted. Many a Newport youth was gone up to the house on a dare, challenged to brave it's silent halls and return with some sort of token as proof. Not everyone comes back. Tonight could very well end up being another one

We need to talk about Ghostbusters...

If anyone asks me what my favourite movie is, I say "Ghostbusters" without a second of hesitation.  I've watched all the shows, read all the comics (even the crappy ones), played the shit out of the video games, ran several campaigns using the surprisingly amazing RPG system...I mean shit I'm wearing a Ghostbusters t-shirt right now and I didn't even notice.  I also wouldn't be offended if someone called me a feminist, in that I believe that men and women should have equal opportunity, equal exposure, ect ect.  I don't get angry when I see male characters in lead roles, but I get really happy when I see females in them because then it becomes
